Dr. Ejaz Akram is currently Professor of Religion and Politics in the Southwestern University of Politics and Law in Chongqing, China. Ejaz served in the Faculty of Contemporary Studies at the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad and as Advisor to the President of NDU (2017-2020). He holds a Ph.D. in world politics (Religion and Politics and Comparative political philosophy) from the Catholic University of America, and an MA in Comparative and Regional Studies (Middles East and South Asia) from the School of International Service (SIS) at the American University, also in Washington, DC. Ejaz has published several books, scholarly articles, reviews and editorials and appears on several radio and television programs in North America, West Asia, and South Asia.
